Dr. Sarah Siddiqui is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized mental health care. Raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dr. Siddiqui has deep roots in the community she now serves. She graduated from Berkmar High School before attending Emory University for her undergraduate studies.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Siddiqui worked as a substitute middle school teacher and interim teacher in Lawrenceville, GA - an experience that profoundly shaped her approach to mental health care. Teaching gave her firsthand insight into the unique challenges students face - not only academically and socially but also in their mental and emotional well-being. Witnessing these struggles up close in the greater Atlanta area solidified her passion for child and adolescent psychiatry and motivated her to pursue a career where she could advocate for young people and their families.
Dr. Siddiqui earned her medical degree from the University of Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of South Alabama. Since 2019, she has been helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate their mental health journeys. After working at Northeast Georgia Health System, she is now launching UME Health and Wellness, a practice built on the principles of thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Dr. Siddiqui believes in taking the time to truly understand each patient, their goals, and advocating for their well-being. Her approach prioritizes collaboration, empathy, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Whether working with children facing life's challenges or adults seeking mental health support, she is committed to walking alongside her patients with care and understanding.
